Qinglong Pipes Industry Group Co., Ltd. was founded in 1975 with investment from the former Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power of China. Formerly affiliated to the Water Resources Department of Ningxia Autonomous Region, the company was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010.

Qinglong Pipes has 19 subsidiaries, branches and production bases across Ningxia, Xinjiang, Gansu, Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Henan, Hubei, Shaanxi, Guangdong, Inner Mongolia and other regions and runs a provincial water conservancy and hydropower survey and design institute. Its business scope covers end-to-end services including engineering consultation, design, pipeline supply, construction, informatization, smart irrigation, as well as subsequent inspection, monitoring, repair and operation.
